SA20 2025: South Africa's biggest T20 franchise!

The 2025 SA20, will be the third season of the SA20, the leading T20 franchise in South Africa. The league is organized by South Africa's governing body Cricket South Africa [CSA], with six teams taking part. The tournament begins on the 09/01/25 with the final being played on the 08/02/25. Sunrisers Eastern Cape are the defending champions after beating Durban Super Giants by 89 runs in Newlands Cricket Ground.

The Draft

For season three, the salary cap had been increased by R 5,100,000 to R 39.1 million [US$2.65 million] per team. Each team has 19 player slots to select for their final squad. From the 19, each team has to select one wildcard and one rookie player and similar to the previous season, each team has to pick a minimum of ten South African Players.
